lady sings the blues

finally, the last polish from deborah lippmann's all that jazz set, lady sings the blues. this baby has been teasing me ever since i first heard about her. i go crazy for blues with glitter (hello, starry starry night?) so i was anticipating big stuff from LSTB. and i got what i asked for! a deep navy base, not quite jelly, not quite a creme, packed with tiny silver micro glitter and giant silver hexagonal glitter.

i think this polish is very beautiful and the more opaque texture to the base gives it a more "classic" edge than the jelly of across the universe, though i loved that one as much or more. the polish doesn't have the depth that AtU does, but just as much beauty. another thing i found interesting, while AtU dries glossy, LSTB dries pretty matte, so a topcoat is definitely a must. this is two coats plus a coat of poshe. j'adore!
ahh miss lippmann, why ya gotta do me so right? :)
