Hey there! Today I have the Halloween trio from Nine Zero Lacquer to show you! I am so happy they came out with Halloween polishes, I wasn't sure there would be another collection so soon from them since they are a very new brand. These shades are excellent and perfect for the upcoming holiday!
Holo-ween is a holographic orange microglitter in an orange jelly base. The first coat is pretty sheer, so I was stoked to see how opaque it got on the second coat. Yup, this is only two coats and it's not overly thick which was really nice. Crazy blingy. Dries texture so I used two coats of top coat for a glassy surface.
Swamp Thing is a slime green jelly with tons of awesome gold shimmer flakes that meld into each other. This is an excellent polish, it has great coverage and was opaque in two coats. Dries slightly dull so use a top coat for maximum impact. This color really wowed me, it makes me think of amphibian skin or something and I love it.
Candy Pillowcase is a really opaque white crelly, with various sizes of orange, red, yellow, green and black matte glitters in hexes, dots, and bars. The name of this cracks me up, I always used a pillowcase for trick or treating when I was a kiddo. Two coats with this guy, pretty easy application with nice glitter payoff.
The pre-sale for this trio has already ended, but they will be available on the Nine Zero Lacquer website on Friday, 10/9 at 11am EST for $9 each or $24.50 for the set of three. Tell me what you think about these three Halloween babies! I am head over heels!
❤ Kellie
