Someday My Prince Will Come is a bright blue scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. This had a good formula, thick in a good way, not too thick. Opaque in two coats. Dries slightly bumpy from the glitter, but just one layer of top coat smoothed them all out for me.
A Little Bit Of Magic is a bright lemon chartreuse scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. This one was a tiny bit streaky, due to the neon shade I'm sure, but I still only needed two coats.
Happily Ever After is a bright watermelon coral scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. This was a little less thick than the blue, and applied super easily. The almost neon, coral/pink/orange base shade is my favorite color ever and I'm so happy to see it from one of my favorite indie brands. Two coats here as well.
Slay The Dragon is a bright lime green scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. This guy applied similarly to the blue shade, thick but good, and opaque in two coats.
Her Own Kingdom is a bright magenta pink scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. This one was not as thick, like the coral shade, and was opaque on one coat! I did two however, as I always do.
Once Upon A Time is a bright amethyst purple scattered holographic with ultra holo glitter. Great formula, same as the blue shade, a little thicker but easy to apply. Two coats here.
The other half of the collection includes: Never Grow Up - matte rainbow glitter bomb with holo base and ultra holo glitter; Love Always Finds A Way - bright lilac scattered holo with ultra holo glitter; True Love’s Kiss - bright pink scattered holo with ultra holo glitter; Fairest of Them All - bright periwinkle scattered holo with ultra holo glitter; Enchanted Forest - bright jade scattered holo with ultra holo glitter; and Far Far Away - bright orange scattered holo with ultra holo glitter. You can see bottle shots and swatches on the Glam Polish facebook and instagram pages.
I went a little crazy pants and did some nail art with the shades I received, insanity! I did a simple rainbow-ish vertical gradient using a latex-free makeup sponge and dabbing on the polish until it became opaque. My trusty latex skin barrier Liquid Palisade helped me keep the polish off my skin (though some green is still visible around my cuticle, ugh). I used a thicker topcoat, Glitter Glaze by Girly Bits, to help smooth the multiple glittery coats. Not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it!
This collection will be available this Friday, July 1st at 2pm EST on the Glam Polish website. I'm pretty dang in love with these shades, they are so nice to put on, they're bright and summery, and they're sooo glittery without being super gritty. And they're themed for fairy tales which is adorable! Tell me what you think!
