Powder Perfect Bermuda Triangle Trio Swatches & Review

Hi there :) Today I have three new polishes from Australian indie brand Powder Perfect to share, called the Bermuda Triangle trio! Three intense summer crèmes to flaunt on the beach, at the pool, or wherever you are living it up this season!

Bermuda is a super bright teal crème. It leans more green in real life but my camera couldn't deal. This was lovely to apply and opaque in two coats. This kind of color tends to stain, so I'd double up on your base coat just in case. However, I didn't notice any staining personally. I really enjoy the Powder Perfect bottle and brush, the design makes it very easy to polish with.

Florida is a striking coral crème, kind of a mix between a neon and a pastel, but not really either one of those haha. This one was a touch on the streaky side, which I have noticed in a lot of coral polishes in this tone. It may be something to do with the pigment type? I used three coats here to cover the streaks but you may get away with two.

Puerto Rico is a summery vibrant purple crème. This formula was really easy and smooth for me, no issues. Opaque in two coats. I am in love with this color! I need to put it on my toes right away!

I was also able to try out their new glossy, quick dry top coat, Lightning Lady. It has a thinner consistency than I'm used to seeing from indies, but it dries pretty quickly and gives a really shiny and hard finish to a manicure. Most of my more plush top coats tend to dry faster, but they don't give me that rock hard surface that this does. Another plus to this gal was zero shrinkage! No matter what I do, with absolutely all my quick dry top coats for the last few years, I seem to experience shrinkage at my cuticles after a few hours of wear. Not the case with Lightning Lady! When I have a bit longer to wait for a perfectly tuned mani, I'll be using this!

You can purchase these at their Australian site http://www.powderperfect.com.au, or their US site http://www.powder-perfect.com. The polishes sell for $10.50 each and the top coat is $11. There is a sale right now where you can get the trio for $29.70 if purchased as a set. And as a special treat, I have a discount code for you (non-affiliate), if you put in KELLIE at checkout on http://www.powder-perfect.com, you can save 10% off your entire purchase! Valid through 7/31/16. Let me know what you think of these pretty bright shades!
