Glad to still be here ;) Wanted to show you this unbelievable polish from Brazilian brand Jade. This is called Mystic Gold, an uber holographic gold polish. Best gold holo I have hands down. Guest Post by Them Pretty Colors: Risqué - Ouro Nude
Please enjoy this guest post from my fabulous friend Sarah from Them Pretty Colors in Brazil!
Hi Girls!
When Kellie invited me to write a guest post, I kept thinking "hmm...which polish would her readers like to see?". And decided to show you a Brazilian polish :) Risque is one of the most popular brands here, together with Colorama and Impala. The polish 'scene' here has always been big, women get manicures weekly. But the shades have been somewhat conventional... However, with the increase of nail polish bloggers and the popularity of international polishes, Risque has decided to step up their game. The polish I will show you today is part of a LE series called Fast Fashion. These polishes are released with no previous notice and are supposed to be the latest trend in polish world. The first one was a matte black, released a few weeks after Illamasqua's Scorn. And now, they released Ouro Nude.

Hits Mundo de Danças Collection: Salsa
Hi there folks :) I am here today with a PINK, because On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink! This is a Brazilian polish from my beautiful and loving friend Sarah from Them Pretty Colors blog. She sent me a few of the flakie polishes from the Hits brand collection Mundo de Danças (World of Dances) collection. They are all flakies and all named after dance styles. This is so me right now because I am currently obsessed with So You Think You Can Dance! I am so hoping Miss Melanie Moore will win, because not only is she a phenomenal dancer, but she is also a fellow nail polish addict! ZOMG :D
Anydance, back to the polish. The first polish I have to show you from this collection is the sexy Salsa! She is a ga ga gorgeous hot pink jelly with oodles of gold flakes. The brush had a few wonky bits (boo!) but otherwise it applied fine. Covered fab in two coats. It looks quite magenta in the bottle but leans a more strawberry pink on the nail.
A weird thing though, I would see a black speck in the polish as I applied sometimes, like every other nail, and when I would try to brush them off they would smear, like pigment. WTF?! I don't know what's up with that but it made me go "GRRR!" fo'sho. It wasn't a tragedy, and as you can see it wasn't anything I couldn't fix, but it was annoying and weird. Oh well, this is a nice fancy pink and I really like it.

Sancion Angel Broadway Collection: Part 1
Hello friends :) Happy Father's Day to you and yours! Today I'd like to show you two polishes from the Brazilian brand Sancion Angel. This is their Broadway collection, all flakies too hurrah! The polishes are teeny, 8 ml and named after Broadway characters.
Sandy, I imagine is named for the blonde goody-two shoes from "Grease". This polish has a clear base with green tinted flakes, that can appear blue from different angles. This is obviously meant to be a layering polish, but I wanted to show it on it's own to show the flakes better. This is two coats.
Christine is named for the singer in "Phantom of the Opera" (I'm guessing), one of my very favorite plays. This is a super gorgeous polish, gold flakes in a violet purple base. Two coats here.
I was dismayed to see that the brushes in both these polishes were splayed and wirey, almost impossible to work with. For layering polishes, I would prefer to have bigger bottles of them as well. I will have a few more of these to show you soon. Have a great one :)

Sancion Angel Holográficos Part 2
Hiiii lovies! I have some more Brazilian holographic polishes to share :) Remember when I showed you my first two Sancion Angel polishes back in the day? Well here are two more! Yay, I was excited when these babies came in the mail!
First up is Ariel, the beautiful ginger haired princess of the sea! All of these holos are named after fictional heroines, how fun is that?! This is a green tinted turquoise scattered holographic polish that is super opaque, this is one coat.
Next is Arwen, named for the half-elf in Lord of the Rings, the Lady of Rivendell and Queen of the Reunited Kingdom. Yeah, I had to look that up, I really just know that Liv Tyler played her in a movie haha! This is a light lilac scattered holographic polish. I've done two coats here.
These are both a little more rainbow-y than the China Glaze Tronica collection but not as much as something like Gosh Holographic, to give you an idea of where they stand on the spectrum. The brushes on these were both a little wonky and splayed, no bueno! I first thought the little bottles were kind of a jip, but now I wish more companies would put out mini bottles! It would save on cost and space haha :D
Have a good weekend my luvs!

Sancion Angel Holográficos
These are two Brazilian lacquers that I got from my lovely friend Sarah who runs the blog Them Pretty Colors. Sancion Angel got wind of the holographic trend and decided to put out some of their own colors, all named after fictional heroines. I have been wanting a yellow holographic polish forEVER and red holos are so rare that I begged Sarah to try to get me these babies.
Beatrix is the yellow polish, named after Uma Thurman's character Beatrix Kiddo in the Kill Bill films. They are by my favorite director, Quentin Tarantino, so that makes me love this polish even more. I imagine they named this one Beatrix as one of her outfits in the first Kill Bill film was a yellow motorcycle outfit. This yellow is slightly warm toned, maybe not one that would look great on everyone but I love it on me. This is two coats.
Dorothy is from The Wizard of Oz; the polish is red, most likely because of Dorothy's iconic ruby shoes. This polish was slightly less holo than I would care for in a perfect world, but it is nicely pigmented and I only needed one coat.
These bottles are tiny, only 8ml, and a bit hard to get unless you are in Brazil, but the other colors in this series are just as fun. I want to get them all! Especially Neytiri (blue like the Avatar girl), Luna (indigo for Luna Lovegood, yay for Harry Potter!), Holly (silver for Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's), and Ariel (turquoise for the Disney mermaid).

Randoms
Here are a few lacquers that I've swatched but haven't posted yet so now's the time I suppose :)
BB Couture Seashells is a light pink crème lacquer that is very sweet and dainty. I enjoy sporting a modest nail look like this every so often, but I count myself lucky that I don't have to wear "work appropriate" colors such as this every day at my job. We have a pretty lax dress code. This is three coats.
Colorama Hippie Chic is a polish Miss Sarah B. picked out for me from her home country of Brazil. This is a bright teal a shade or two lighter than I've seen before. Very nice with two coats.
Girls Will Be Girls by MAC is a polish I got in a swap a few days ago. A pretty pink and coral opalescent lacquer. This is four coats.
Pin Up is another Brazilian lacquer from Sarah, by Impala. It's an awesome dark pink metallic, interwoven with some silver. Two coats for this hawt mama!

Colorama Militar
This is Colorama Militar, from Brazil from my lovely Sarah of Them Pretty Colors--like the two lacquers I've already shown you this week. She is so good to me! A gorgeous dusty muted military green. Think that's where the name comes from? I do :) Three coats.

Colorama Coral Chic
I have another lacquer from Brazil to share with you today! This is Coral Chic, a STELLAR present from my girl Sarah B. from Them Pretty Colors. She honestly chose the most amazing collection of colors for our swap, I can't get over how much I love all of them! (And I'm getting some more from her soon *sqee*!) This orange blush coral jelly is a gorgeous sheer that builds to opacity nicely in three coats with spectacular gold sparkle. It just screams SUMMER!

Impala Crochê
I got this cream dream from my gorgeous friend Sarah over at Them Pretty Colors. It's from Brazil and is sooooo pretty. That girl knows what I like that is for sure! Crochê is a pale grey brownish color. The formula was a little watery, as I think these are non big-3 free, but totally workable. This is three coats.
I love the bottle shape of Impalas, they're like little rockets! And the label design reminds me of something, like a cigar wrapper haha. Totally cute.
I'm going to be guest blogging later this week on Them Pretty Colors, reviewing another gorgeous Brazilian lacquer, so be sure to subscribe to her feed and keep an eye out for it :)
