Frenzy Polish Hummingbird Hollow Collection Swatches & Review

Hey there! Today I have a collection from indie brand Frenzy Polish to show you, called Hummingbird Hollow. It's a seven piece collection inspired by the beauty of those little jewel-like birdies!

Purple-Backed Sunbeam is a deep eggplant-purple holographic with purple flash. I found it to be on the thicker side, but not difficult to apply. This was slightly metallic as well, which I think contributed to the thickness. This is two coats.

Trill-iant is a grey based bronze holographic with red to golden shifty shimmer. This one was also thick, but again applied fine and covered in two coats.

Flit is a teal holographic with a yellow/green flash of shimmer. This applied well and had a nice middle of the road viscosity. It was a little tiny bit brushstrokey due to the metallic shimmer, but I don't think it shows too much when the polish dries. Two coats.

Sugar Baby is a orchid pink holographic with a subtle blue flash and blue/green multichrome flakies. This one was a tad thick but again, not difficult to use. This is two coats. I like this one a lot, but I wish it had more of those flakies. I feel like they get a little lost with the holo effect.

Sky Chaser is a rich, cool blue holographic. There is a subtle purple shift to this which makes it a tad shifty. Excellent formula, opaque in two coats.

Brilliant Blur is a bright metallic green holographic with a yellow gold shimmer flash and multichrome flakies. Thick formula again, but a good thick. The flakies in this were more prevalent than in the pink and I think they really give the polish that oomph! Two coats.

Ruby Throated Rebel has a regal red base filled with scattered holographic effects, microglitter and multichrome flakies. This is a bit chunky because it has so many fabulous goodies in it, but applies pretty easily. Some of the larger flakie bits were sticking out a bit so I recommend a thick top coat for this one.

This collection will be released on Friday, July 29th at 7pm EST on the Frenzy Polish website. The individual bottles are priced at $9.50 with the entire collection selling for $65. I've been told that the owner of Frenzy Polish is taking a break after this collection, so we probably won't see anything new from them for a few months. What do you think of these flights of fancy? My favorites have to be the red and grey shades!

Color4Nails Mother's Day Box 2016 Swatches & Review

Hey cookies! Today I have a new collab box put together from nail polish stockist Color4Nails for Mother's Day! The box contains five exclusive polishes from five different indie brands all inspired by the movie Mamma Mia!

Cupcake Polish Dancing Queen is a deep teal linear holographic with lots of iridescent green flakies. The polish is on the thicker side, but easy to apply. I used two coats for full opacity. It dries a tad dull so you'll want a top coat for shine.

Frenzy Polish Villa Donna is a sky blue crelly filled with multichrome metallic flakies and silver holo shards. The first coat seems sheer but it builds up nicely on the second coat. The new Frenzy logo is so cute!

Illyrian Polish Feeling Like A Number One is a black jelly with scattered holographic and multicolored/iridescent flake shimmer. The appears that it may be very sheer upon the first coat, but it magically becomes fully opaque with just one more coat. I expected this to be chunky but it's pretty smooth!

Bear Pawlish Who I Am is a watery aqua linear holographic with blue shimmer. This one also seemed a bit too sheer on the first coat but turned out totally opaque on the second. This is my first Bear Pawlish and I quite enjoyed it!

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer The Cake Is A Lye is a white jelly with icy fleck sparkles and subtle holo shimmer. This is my first polish from this brand. I found it went on pretty streaky and was really thick to the point of being almost gummy. I needed three coats to cover the streaks and get full coverage. Not my favorite formula, but it gives a beautiful finished look.

This box is available for pre-order now through April 3rd for $65 including shipping to any country Color4Nails ships to. There are a limited number of boxes to be sold so be sure to snatch it up if you want it! The boxes will begin shipping on April 18th. Let me know what you think about this box! Do you like the movie Mamma Mia? I think it's pretty cute, and of course I love the music!

Frenzy Polish Fall Out Foxes Collection Swatches & Review

Greetings polish lovers! I'm here again with some more awesome lacquers to show you! The brand is a newish-to-me indie called Frenzy Polish. I learned about them last Fall and ordered a few polishes, then the owner sent me this collection for review. It's called Fall Out Foxes, inspired by and named for songs by the band Fall Out Boy, collaborated on with the brand's fan group on Facebook, the Frenzy Foxes. The fox is kind of the little mascot for the brand so it all ties in together, rather cutely!

Falling Apart To Half Time is a dark teal blue jelly filled with a ton of holo pigment and iridescent flakies pieces. Great formula, opaque in two coats. Dries very shiny!

Tears On Ice is a white crelly with tiny silver glitter, two tones of blue metallic shards, and a few blue square glitters. Pretty good application wise, maybe a touch streaky. This is two coats, but you may need one more depending on your polishing style.

Underneath The Purple Skies is a deep, warm purple jelly with lots of very fine coppery gold microglitter bits. I had no issues with this when I swatched it, but I wore it as a full manicure and noticed it got a touch thick the longer I had the bottle open. This is two coats.
Frenzy Polish Underneath The Purple Skies

Gem City has a clear base with bronze holographic microglitter and multichrome metallic flakies. This can be worn on its own, like I've shown here at three coats, or as a layering topper. Lovely formula, not thick at all, dried fast.
Frenzy Polish Gem City

Keep You Like An Oath is a medium grey crelly with different shapes and sizes of glitter in white, blue, green, magenta, along with silver microglitter. Another nice formula, great coverage at two coats.

Like You (Only Sweeter) is a unique taupey pink with a tinge of lavender, filled with small glitters of white and red along with silver holo microshimmer. Fuss free application, two coats for full opacity.

This Ain't A Scene is a mid-tone teal base with a gallon of multichrome flakies and what looks like some glass fleck shimmer. I am repeating myself, but these all have really great formulas. Two coats.
Frenzy Polish This Ain't A Scene

Immortals has a clear base filled with pale gold holographic microglitter, small orangey gold metallic glitter, and some metallic flakies. This was surprisingly opaque, only two coats on this guy.
Frenzy Polish Immortals

Heavy Metal Broke My Heart is another clear based polish, this one is definitely a topper though. It has multicolored metallic flakies in all different sizes and subtle holographic dust. This is very dense, I used one coat over Underneath The Purple Skies here.
Frenzy Polish Heavy Metal Broke My Heart

You Look So Good In Blue is a medium blue jelly with a turquoise tone filled to the brim with soft flake shimmer, holo glitter and some satiny glitter pieces. Can you guess how it applied? Yup, you guessed it, really great in just two coats.
Frenzy Polish You Look So Good In Blue

Light Em Up is a yellow gold shimmery crelly with metallic flakies and holographic microglitter. This is actually an add-on polish and not technically part of this collection. It was a prototype shade for the inspiration that eventually became Immortals, but lots of members of the fan group liked it so much she decided to release it as well. Another fabulous formula, nice and opaque in two coats.
Frenzy Polish Light Em Up

The Frenzy Polish web shop is closed right now but they will reopen this Friday, Feb. 12th at 8am EST. These shades are all sold for $9 each, and you can get the entire collection (excluding Light Em Up) for $80. Light Em Up will be available in very limited quantities. Have you tried Frenzy Polish yet? Are you a Fall Out Boy fan? I'll talk to you again soon friends! :)
