3 Little Indies

Hi folks! Whoa, January has flown by huh! I can't believe it's almost February. Craziness! Today I'm bringing you three mini indie polishes that I bought this past summer and haven't shown you yet.

First is Pretty and Polished Bubble Tea. It's a very interesting polish, a milky jelly in a yellow slime-ish green color with teeny whitish clear glitter, that reminds me of salt, and black hexes. I layered two coats over OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me from the Germany collection. If you've ever had the real bubble tea, you know this is a spot on interpretation in polish form.

Next is Hit Polish Precious Metal. Bronze, copper, gold, silver and gunmetal colored metallic hex glitters in all sizes with a handful of holo microglitter makes this a stunner! I actually didn't even realize there was holo in it until I stepped into the sun to take this picture and it nearly blinded me! I layered two coats over OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!. I love this and should actually get around to wearing it again soon!

And last is Hit Polish Halloween. It's a glitter polish with hexes, squares, and bar glitter in purple, green, and orange. I layered two coats over OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby?. I didn't love this as much as I expected but it's fun enough.

Pretty and Polished nail lacquers can be purchased on their Etsy store and their website. You can get Hit Polish nail lacquers from their Etsy store or their website. How do you like these guys? Have you tried anything from these brands? I love indie polishes! Well, the good ones ;)

OPI Germany Collection Fall 2012

OPI comes out with a region based polish collection every year and for 2012 they did a Germany collection. I enjoy this bunch very much and think OPI did a fab job on them all.

This is Berlin There, Done That, a light grey taupe with a super slight purple tinge.

Danke-Shiny Red is a shiny blue toned red. Very shiny and almost metallic in finish.

Deutsch You Want Me Baby? is probably the best polish name I've ever heard. This is a beautiful warm autumn orange metallic shimmer.

Don't Pretzel My Buttons is a nude beige cream. Fabulous formula and a great palate cleanser type color.

Don't Talk Bach To Me is a hot color, and very unique. It's a yellowy spring green. It reminds me of a softer and more metallic almost pearly version of Fiercely Fiona. Love.

Every Month Is Oktoberfest is a striking vampy deep reddish purple shimmer that glows like crazy. It reminds me of older OPI colors that were so hot back in the day, but that we never appreciated until they were gone.

German-icure by OPI is a vampy brownish burgundy darkened red shimmer. Same type of color as Oktoberfest. Another gorgeous lacquer!

My Very First Knockwurst is a light slightly dusty pink nude. So fresh and so clean, clean. And feminine.

Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! is a dark dusty green toned grey. Close to Zoya Noot. Like with Noot, I wish it was more green but I still like it.

Schnapps Out Of It! is another great polish name. This is a pinky warm terracotta earthy color with slight silver shimmer. Weird and not particularly beautiful but I really like it.

Suzi And The 7 Dusseldorfs is a shiny shimmery metallic red toned purple. Similar finish to Zoya Suri with a red tone instead of blue.

Unfor-Greta-bly Blue is a shimmery metallic teal toned blue. Lovely and very wearable.

I really like this collection, very well rounded. Might be my favorite regional OPI collection since their France collection. You can buy OPI at salons and select retailers for $8.50.
