Hi there! Sometimes I'm really indecisive with my polish purchases. Remember when I showed you my picks from the SuperChic Lacquer Into the Woods collection? Well, turns out I needed two more colors from the collection. I cannot freaking believe I didn't buy these the first time, they are SO good! I actually haven't gotten around to seeing that movie yet, hmm. Anywho, let's look at the babes I should've bought the first go around but didn't. I'm so glad I was still able to buy them, though *phew*!
First is Witches Agenda for Uberness, a stunning blue iridescent shimmer peeking out from a deep black jelly base. There are glints of holographic bits, a chromey blue flash and flake shimmer in there too! This is seriously a galaxy on your nails. I can't even describe how beautiful this is in person. I used three coats here. You could also do one layer over a dark navy or black.
And this is Bedtime Nom Noms for Mr. Wolf, that name makes me smile every time I hear it. It's got a rich brown shimmer base with lots of silver microglitter, some holographic sprinkles and pops of red shimmer bits. I really like this one too, it's unexpected and unique to my collection. I used three coats here.
These polishes are still available for purchase, along with the rest of the shades in the collection, on SuperChic Lacquer Etsy store for $10 each. I am glad I bought these, and who knows if I'll have to go back for more of them! What do you think of these two polishes? Have you tried anything from SuperChic Lacquer before?
Happy Wednesday and I hope the rest of your week is awesome!

My Picks from the SuperChic Lacquer Into the Woods Collection Swatches & Review
Hey superfriends! I'm excited to be showing you some awesome polishes today from indie brand SuperChic Lacquer. They are my first colors from the brand and I'm quite impressed. The collection is called Into the Woods, inspired by the upcoming fairytale movie starring Meryl Streep and Anna Kendrick. The collection has 10 shades but I only purchased four, the ones that looked most exciting to me. Although, I'm kind of thinking I might need some others!
First up is Baker's Hunger for a Bun in the Oven. Just so you know the names of these polishes are outrageous haha. It's described as "a muted deep lush blue-gray with contrasting fiery-copper iridescent shimmer and holographic effects". This is kinda sheer, but I think that's the nature of this collection, just the way they're composed. You might get away with two coats if you don't mind visible nail line, but I recommend three or maybe four if you have long nails. I don't really mind that, but thought it was important to note. I find this magically beautiful. It's breathtaking in the sunlight. Dries satiny so you'll need a top coat.
Next is Let Your Hair Down and Take a Selfie. The creator says this is a "vibrant golden yellow base with strong fiery-copper iridescent, subtle holographic and brilliant red shimmer effects". I wasn't sure I wanted this one at first, but after seeing lots of photos of it I knew I'd regret it if I didn't. The red bits make it a total unique must have for me. It's sheer again, but the pigment is hefty. I needed three coats. It also dried matte/satin.
Here is You Don't Know Jack About My Beans, a "a lush artichoke green with strong contrasting fiery iridescent, holographic and green shimmer effects". That sounds amazing to me and the color itself is even better. Pictures don't do it justice. It's the sheerest of the ones I tried, I used three coats here but I think I'd recommend doing four or to layer it. I showed on instagram a while ago and I had layered it over swampy green crème China Glaze Westside Warrior, and it was dope! It really showed the copper shimmer.
And last is Nightshade Serum to Youth, Like Actually!, the reason I fell in love with this collection and took the plunge to try them in the first place. It's described as "a lush eggplant purple base with contrasting green iridescent shimmer, vibrant green chrome flash and holographic effects". This leans surprisingly on the frosty side of shimmery, but I think it still works really well. It could get a little brushstroke-y if you push too firmly on your brush upon application. Love, just pure love. Dries shinier than the others but it still needs a top coat.
The bottle design from this brand is quite different, it's square on the bottom but on two opposite sides it slants in diagonally in towards the handle. Its kind of got an optical illusion thing going on. I like it to look at, but to hold for photos is quite awkward haha, as you can see by my non-uniformly posed pictures. The brush worked really well for me, it's like a more petite version of the OPI pro-wide brush, although the stem seemed a little short to me.
As I mentioned before this collection has 10 shades in total and if you're curious, you can see the entire collection on my friends' blogs: MissHollyBerries and Sparkly Tips. These polishes can be purchased on the SuperChic Lacquer Etsy store for $10 each. What do you think of these? I'm smitten! I'm also very excited to see the movie when it comes out! :)
See you soon friends!
