Zoya Fall 2015 Flair Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Saturday!! I have the second Fall 2015 collection from Zoya today, called Flair; I showed you the Focus collection of crèmes yesterday. This half is the flirty, more sassy side of their Fall shades. We've got six beautiful "liquid metals" to check out, so let's get started!

First is Aggie describes as a gold "holo-flip", which I'm guessing means duochrome, liquid metal with bronze microglitter. It is similar to, but not a dupe for, Chanel's Peridot. This was thinner than the others in the collection and there were slight brushstrokes but nothing terrible. I used two coats here but you may need three if you do thinner coats.

Cinnamon is a brown bronze-y liquid metal that was originally designed for Zang Toi NYFW F/W15. It was a little thicker and flowed on the nail like a dream. The brushstrokes in this one were a bit more apparent. Two coats.

This is Ember, a fiery orangey red liquid metal. I'm not usually a fan of colors like this in a metallic finish, and Zoya has plenty of them, but I enjoyed this one a bit more for some reason. I had some staining on my skin after removal though, so be mindful of that. This is two coats.

Estelle is a stunning "blue on blue" liquid metal. This has a real vibrancy to it, very striking. Great formula, two coats for opacity.

Here we have Giada, a lovely purple liquid metal with the slightest touch of pearlescence in fuchsia. The metallic finish in this one seemed finer ground than the others, like the particles were smaller. Easy to apply, neither thick nor thin. Two coats.

Tris is last, with a name I'm loving because I'm a fan of the Divergent book series and that is the main character. This is described as a blackened, brushed nickel liquid metal. I think this is such a great Fall color, very edgy but still wearable. Brushstrokey, opaque in two coats.

You can purchase these now on the Zoya website for $9 each, $54 for the full size set, or $30 for a mini set. All in all, I think the Fall selection from Zoya this year is really great. I don't dislike any of the colors and I really enjoyed most of them. Which of their two Fall collections is your favorite? Are you more into crèmes or metallics?

Color Club Take Wing Collection

Wut up yo :) I have been feeling the summer approaching and this being the first day of May, it's just the time to show you this sparkly summery collection from Color Club, Take Wing. I am so in the mood for sun and fun, which is exactly what this group of polishes makes me think of!

A yellow glass fleck, yay! I definitely don't own anything quite like it. Daisy Does It is a sunshine yellow full of shimmery glass flecks. This is three coats.

An orange glass fleck?! Holy wow, I can't even...be still my beating heart! I am in love with this color! Sparkle and Soar is a juicy tangerine with gold glass flecks. This is two coats.

This sickening green (in a good way) is called Fly With Me. It's a limey green with lots of glass fleck goodness. I thought I would like this one the best, but the orange edged it out. This is three coats.

Wing Fling is a bright magenta pink glass fleck with a blue/purple flash. I feel like I've seen this guy before, so I'm not quite as excited about this one, but it's still pretty. Two coats.

This blue is not super unique either but it's still worth owning, if you ask me. Sky High (which is also a super cool cheesy teen movie) is an ocean blue glass fleck that leans almost toward a foily finish. This is two coats.

Metamorphosis is a ridiculously gorgeous green toned teal glass fleck. This polish was a tiny bit of a let down, once on the nail the edges have that sheerish look that is so weird. Otherwise, it's fab. Three coats on this one.

All in all, I am pretty happy with this collection. Hands down the orange is my fav, squee! You should be able to pick these up now at various e-tailers.
