Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors Collection

This collection came out for the holidays last year, Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors. 14 great colors inspired from/created by the Kardashian/Jenner women. I don't know much of anything about the ladies, but I have to say these polishes are pretty fantastic. Sorry I'm just getting around to swatching these now, but better late than never eh?

First up is one of my favorites in the collection, It's All About the Glam. It's a white translucent shade with tons of twinkly white shimmer glitter. Amazingly beautiful. Three coats here.

Kim-pletely in Love is the same type of polish as the previous one, only in a pale pink shade with duochrome shimmer bits. Beautiful but a bit streaky. Three coats.

This is called All Kendall-ed Up, a bright saturated hot pink crème. This is not unique but it's a great basic and essential color to have in your collection. Two coats.

Kourt is Red-y For a Pedi is an uber bright coral red. This one has a fab jelly crème finish. Another not super unique polish but absolutely gorgeous. Two coats.

This is Hard-Kourt Fashionista. Dumb name, sorry. This is a deep dark chocolate brown crème. Two coats.

This is called Sealed With a Kris, again terrible name. I suppose they tried every way possible to sneak in their names huh? Jelly wine red. This is beautiful in person, I liked it better than I expected. Three coats.

Khloe had a Little Lam-Lam is a deep dark teal. Very pretty and flattering, though in this photo it washes me out a bit. I'm not even going to comment on the names anymore *rolls eyes* Two coats.

This one is called My Empire...My Rules. This guy is a mousey taupey grey. Awesome formula, two coats. (I hate this photo because of the fugly thumbprint on the bottle. Eww.)

Glitters yay! This is Rainbow in the S-Kylie, a dupe for OPI Rainbow Connection. Multi-colored, varying sizes of hex shaped and round glitter. This is three coats.

Here is a stunner, Listen To Your Momager! This polish is a bright navy blue with gallons of bright blue metallic shimmer. Much prettier than some of the other metallic shimmery blues I've seen from NOPI. Two coats here.

Wear Something Spar-Kylie is a reddish pink base with lots and lots of silver glitter pieces, small and micro. Really lovely. This is three coats.

This is Disco Dolls, a glitter bomb that is definitely unique to my collection. It's an orangey gold microglitter with larger round multicolored glitter accents. I can't say I love this one but it is definitely unique. Three coats.

Follow Me on Glitter (ugh) is kin to Disco Dolls, in a smokey silver shade. The base is somewhat tinted which is nice, it makes it easier to get opaque. There is heavy silver microglitter and those round multicolored accent glitters. This is three coats.

And last is Kendall on the Katwalk. Name not withstanding, this is probably my favorite glitter in the collection. The main color of glitter, slightly larger than the microglitters, is lovely jewel tinted blue. There is a rich sea green secondary glitter in there along with the teeniest hints of purple. This is three coats.

I don't know if they still sell all of these regularly in stores, but you might be able to snag a few in Target or CVS, etc. I'm sure you wouldn't have trouble finding them online. Do you have any of the polishes in this collection? I'm gonna try never to get this far backed up on a collection again haha. Still love me?

Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors CVS Exclusives

Nicole by OPI put out seven more Kardashian Kolors for their line exclusive to CVS this Spring. I seem to always put off swatching NOPIs because I despise the bottle design, even though I end up really liking most of their colors. It's just an aesthetic thing, nothing to do with the brand or polish. I still have to show you the original Kardashian collection that came out last year, haha.

First is Paparazzi Don't Preach, a smooth milky pinky peach. This was a bit sheer, but otherwise it was lovely in terms of application. This is three coats. I adore the Madonna song it pays homage to :)

Next is Strike a Pose, a bright poppy red with coral undertones. This is really pretty in person, not necessarily unique but very lovely. I adore brights like this for warm weather. This is two coats.

Here is One Big Happy Fame-ily, a dorky name haha but a very sweet polish. It's a lavender glass fleck that might look dupe-able in the bottle but turned out very distinctive. This one is a bit sheer, so this is three coats.

Here is Our Fuchsia's Lookin' Bright is a purpley fuchsia crème. This one is also not super unique, but again it's a great bright pigmented color, perfect for summer. This is two coats.

Smile for the Glam-era is a gorgeous blackened eggplant with red and multicolored shimmer flecks, some small and some a bit bigger. This had a fab formula, two coats.

Ladies in the Limelight is a limon yellow with a hint of green undertones, reminds me of Fiercely Fiona from the Shrek Forever After collection of 2010. This one was a tad streaky, but workable. This is three coats.

Last is Back To Reality...TV, a purpley periwinkle with delicate reddish pink shimmer. I thought I would love this one, but it just strikes me as middle of the road. This is three coats.

These are available now for $7.99 each at CVS locations nationwide and online at www.cvs.com. What do you think of these new additions to the Kardashian/Nicole by OPI collaboration?

Nicole by OPI Wel-Kim to My World Collection

Helloooo :) Today I have the latest Kardashian Kolors collection from Nicole by OPI, Well-Kim to My World. These are inspired by Kim Kardashian in particular, showcasing her "flirty, feminine side". I don't think that anyone loathes the bottle shape of Nicole polishes more than I, they are ridiculously hard to position my hand around to take decent photos. *grumble, grumble*

First is Others Pale by Kim-Parison, a soft white cream. It's not super stark white so it's very wearable. This is three coats, and as you can see, it still looks patchy in some spots.

Next is Kim Konfidential, a honey beige cream. I have professed my love for nudes and this one is more on the camel side than the ones I usually get, but I do really like it. This is three coats.

Up and Kim-ing Pink is a baby pink cream. I have heard it's a dupe for OPI's Pink Friday that came out in the Nicki Minaj collection. I also did three coats for this one, it's opaque in two but one more is needed to level it out.

Here is Nothing Kim-pares to Blue, a pale periwinkle blue with shimmery glass fleck glitter. I thought I would like it more than I actually did, I think the color doesn't look particularly fab on me. This is three coats.

Here Kim's the Sun is an opalescent glitter polish, the base looks slightly gold but it comes out clear when applied. I was kind of meh on this when I first saw it, but it is a nice fun top coat. My mom adores it and practically snatched it out of my hands when I showed her. This is three coats.

Here is the glitter layered over the blue. I like this combo better than the blue by itself. Two coats.

Next is Lights, Kim-era, Action!, a shimmery metallic opal shade that flashes green. I thought it was going to be hideous, and by itself, it kind of is, but layered on top of the other colors from this collection, it really pops! This is one coat over the others. The shimmer freaked out my camera, to the point of giving me a "tan" that Snooki would be envious of.

These look way better when applied on the nail than they do in the bottle, classic and elegant. I think I've voiced my opinion before on how I feel when people use the letter "K" in place of a "C" in words. However, the Kardashian's have got something going for them that works so I suppose they shouldn't change. It still makes me gag though. You can pick these up at CVS and Ulta for about $7.99.
