Lac Attack - Cherry Blossom Bloom & Holy Chick!

Hi folks! I've got the last two lacquers in the Lac Attack Spring Fling collection for you, finally. First is Cherry Blossom Bloom, a glitter mix in a clear base. It's full of metallic circle glitter in poppin' purpley fuchsia, small white hexes, and large white strips. I am gagging over how much I love this circle glitter. I wasn't in love with the look in the bottle, but once I saw it on the nail I was blown away. I'm a torn on the big tape-like strips of white but it breaks up the mix. This is two coats layered over pale pink NCLA Not So Sweet. The clear base was thick and I ended up with lots of bubbles but I still love the result.

And last is Holy Chick!, a white jelly creme with dashes of large yellow hex glitters, medium pale blue hexes, and smaller iridescent hexes. The formula on this wasn't my favorite, it was hard to make it opaque. I would recommend layering it over a solid white creme. I do like the color combo and it look nice overall, although I would prefer if the glitter popped a little more. The pieces get a little lost I think. This is three coats.
Lac Attack - Holy Chick!

Lac Attack nail polishes are sold on their website http://lacattack.com/ for $8 for a full size bottle and $4.25 for a mini. Holy Chick! doesn't seem to be available at the moment but Cherry Blossom Bloom is currently up for purchase. What do you think of the lovely indie lacquers?

Lac Attack - Spring Fling & Garden Party

What's going on friends? I reviewed two of the polishes from this same indie brand collection in an earlier post and here are two more for ya. The Lac Attack Spring Fling collection came out earlier this year and here is the namesake, Spring Fling. It's a nice bright turquoiseish blue with neon green glitter and a subtle metallic shimmer. I haven't seen anything similar to this and love the look of it! This is two coats.

This is Garden Party, inspired by May flowers, it's a mix of antique pink and green metallic hex glitters. I figured I'd try layering it over Spring Fling to see if they'd work together and I liked the result. This is two coats. I think it looked better in person than it translates in a photo, but I hope you like it anyway.

You can buy Lac Attack from their website http://www.lacattack.com for $8 in full size and $4.25 in a mini. Their website is down at the moment so I'm not sure if these are still available for purchase. Only Garden Party is available for purchase at the moment (from this post), but go check out what other pretty colors they have to offer. What do you think of these two indie lacquers?

Lac Attack - Puddle Jumping & Bunny Poop

Hi everyone! I hope everyone has seen my giveaway posted the other day, but if you haven't entered yet, go do it! Today I have two polishes from indie brand Lac Attack from their Spring Fling collection. It's a new to me brand and I'm always excited to experience new goodies.

First up is Puddle Jumping. Inspired by April showers, gray skies and blue raindrops, it's a medium-light gray creme with tiny indigo flakes and a purple/blue hidden shimmer. I used two coats here. It was easy to apply and buttery. I like this color and it definitely evokes memories of quiet rainy spring days.

Now using Puddle Jumping as a base, I layered two coats of a glitter topper called Bunny Poop over it to make a fun springy mani. It's made up of yellow, pink, green and blue pastel matte glitter in a clear base. It reminds me of yummy easter candy! I think these two compliment each other naturally and adore this combo.
