Powder Perfect Antique Princess Duo Mei Mei's Signatures Exclusive Swatches & Review

Good day to you dear friend! Australian indie brand Powder Perfect has created an exclusive duo for Singapore based nail polish stockist Mei Mei's Signatures called the Antique Princess duo and I've got them to show you today!

Contested Crown is a mauvey purple shimmery holographic filled with blue to purple shifting micro flakes. This is gorgeous and deep and complex. A little thin, but applied easily. I used three coats, but two would probably work fine for most. The holo is more apparent in person, it was harder to capture in a photo.
Powder Perfect Contested Crown

Forgotten Princess features gold to fuchsia shifting metallic flakies in an olive green jelly base. This reminds me of a magical forest, perhaps that is where the princess got forgotten? Good formula, a touch on the runny side, so don't overload your brush with product. This is three coats.
Powder Perfect Forgotten Princess

These are available now on the Mei Mei's Signature's website for SGD 17.00 each, which is about $12.50 USD with the current exchange rate. Let me know what you think of these lacquers! Are you more into the shimmer/holo or the flakies? Talk to you again soon!

Girly Bits Next Door Cafe Duo Mei Mei's Signatures Exclusive Swatches & Review

Hello again to you dear reader! I'm back today with some new Girly Bits Cosmetics polishes! Specifically the Next Door Cafe duo, which are exclusive to Singapore based indie stockist Mei Mei's Signatures.

Mint Chocolate is a mint green linear holographic with pale silver shard flakies. This applied easily and covered completely with two coats. It's a bit hard to see the flakies in direct lighting, like in this photo, but they are quite prominently seen in real life.
Girly Bits Cosmetics Mint Chocolate

Smiling Lavender is a lavender ultra holographic with added light pink holo glitters and violet purple micro flakies. Super sparkly and super rainbow-flamey! This one was a bit thin, but still easy to handle. Two coats here as well.

This duo is available now on the Mei Mei Signatures website for SGD 37.00 or around $27.50 USD. As far as I can tell they are not available individually right now, only as a duo. Let me know what you think of these two shades! I'm head over heels!

Colors by Llarowe Mei Mei's Signatures Exclusive Swatches & Review

Hey kittens, happy Mother's Day to everyone of you who happens to be a mom! I just got home from a business trip and I'm wiped. I thought I'd have time/energy to blog while I was out but that didn't happen :P I've got two new polishes to show you today from indie brand Colors by Llarowe that are exclusives for Mei Mei's Signatures, a stockist based in Singapore. I've worked with her many times and I'm excited to be able to show you these.

Tickle The Ivories is a slightly grey ivory jelly with holographic glitter. Being such a light color, I was expecting some streaks, but it really wasn't bad at all. Sheer though, so you'll need at least three coats for this level of opacity. Nice sparkle, happy to add this to my collection!
Colors By Llarowe Tickle The Ivories

Orange Sherbet is a coral tinged orange linear holographic. Crazy easy to apply, and opaque in one coat. I used two like usual. Dries on the dull side so you'll need top coat for shine. I'm in love with this shade!
Colors By Llarowe Orange Sherbet

These are both available now on the Mei Mei's Signatures website for 20 SGD, which is around $15 in USD with the exchange rate right now. Let me know what you think of these!

Moo Moo's Signatures New Shades Swatches & Review

What's going on cookies?? I have some awesome new polishes from Moo Moo's Signatures to share with you today! This Singapore based indie brand creates super cute polishes and they're always interesting and out of the box.

Yellow Hare is a neon yellow holo with tiny silver white flakies. This looks a little bit more green in certain lighting, I would call it a chartreuse. Two coats, pretty normal formula, but if you do thinner coats you might prefer using three layers.
Moo Moo's Signatures Yellow Hare

Meet Piggie Under The Sun is a "piggie" pink holographic which has an almost metallic finish, flecked with with tiny green and pink sparkles. Opaque in one coat but I used two here. Very easy and smooth application! Dries a bit dull so you'll want a top coat.
Moo Moo's Signatures Meet Piggie Under The Sun

Moo-struck is a purple scattered holographic with black stars, red stars, black dots, green dots, magenta hexes, turquoise hexes, iridescent glitters, silver and gold flakies. Also, this polish comes with a small bag of extra black and red star shaped glitters for extra bling! They would also be perfect for nail art, though I haven't tried that yet. This one has a similar formula to Yellow Hare but with the added glitters it made it a touch thick. I had to manipulate the glitters a tiny bit but nothing too intensive haha. This is two coats. Dries down to a satin finish so you'll want a top coat.
Moo Moo's Signatures Moo-struck

Whisper A Wish has a clear base with lots of pretty color-shifting translucent glitters, tiny silver stars, silver dots, gold dots, gold squares, holo silver hexes, holo gold hexes, tiny yellow-green iridescent glitters and tiny pink flakies. I've layered one coat over a black crème here to show off the iridescence. So firey and pretty! Easy to apply, with a little bit of placement for the larger glitters. Great glitter density!

These polishes are all available on their Etsy store now for around 12 Euros for each 12ml bottle. They are 3-free and ship from Singapore. What do you think of these pretties? Be sure to see my previous posts featuring other Moo Moo's Signatures polishes, a lot of them are still available in their store!

Moo Moo's Signatures Duo Paris Est Un Enchantement + Snow Bunny Swatches & Review

We've almost made it to the weekend! How is your's shaping up? Got any plans? It's supposed to snow where I live again, so I'll most likely be indoors haha. Today I have three new polishes from Singapore indie brand Moo Moo's Signatures to show you! There are two shades that make up a Valentine's duo called Duo Paris Est Un Enchantment (a.k.a. Enchanting Paris Duo), and a bonus shade from her fall releases!

Moment Romantique is half of the Valentine's duo, it's a pale grey champagne holographic with just the slightest hint of green, tons of gold shimmer and real silver flakies. Great formula, no trouble with application, opaque in two coats. I was told that this formula was being tweaked a bit to reduce the slight brushstrokes that show up in the finish, which is great.
Moo Moo's Signatures Moment Romantique

Des Roses Pour Toi is the second polish of the Paris duo, it's a rosey baby pink holographic with metallic shimmer and tiny sparkle bits that shift a bit in different lights. This applied very nicely, a little thick but in a good way, covering in two coats. This one will also get a formula tweak though to reduce brushstrokes.
Moo Moo's Signatures Des Roses Pour Toi

Snow Bunny is from their Bunny collection; it's a light cornflower blue holo with tiny pink flakies and delicate pink shimmer. A little thinner than the other two but easy to apply and covered well in just two coats. I actually love the blue and pink together, they are perfect for the Pantone colors of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity!
Moo Moo's Signatures Snow Bunny

These shades are available now on the Moo Moo's Signatures website for 18.00 SGD each in a 12 mL bottle. The website ships worldwide so everyone has a chance to get these babies! Let me know what you think about these shades and we'll see you again soon! :)

Moo Moo's Signatures Swatches & Review

Hello again, dear friend! Today I have a new-to-me indie brand to share with you, Moo Moo's Signatures. This brand is made by Mei Mei, who is behind the nail polish stockist website Mei Mei's Signatures based in Singapore. Moo Moo is the mascot of the brand, a cute little cow! I've got a mix of polishes here from some of their recent collections, so let's take a look!

Oh Lolly! is a light peachy pink crème with tiny purple and red flakies that flash gold in different lights. The flakies are there, but are harder to see in the photo than on the nail. This polish was on the thinner side and was a tad bit streaky. I used three coats for full opacity. This dried a bit dull so use a top coat for maximum shine.
Moo Moo's Signatures Oh Lolly!

Don't Take Lollipop From Stranger is a mint crème with gold shimmer, green micro-flakies and gold holographic shimmer. This applied easily, I didn't find it particularly thick or thin, but I had some slight streaking on two coats so I used three. This one also dries a little dull.
Moo Moo's Signatures Don't Take Lollipop From Stranger

Monster In The Woods is a warm chocolate brown polish with bright green shimmer, green micro-flakies and gold holographic dust. This was opaque in one coat, but I used two here. It didn't dry as dull as the first two polishes, but was more satiny. The green in this really sparkles in person, so pretty!
Moo Moo's Signatures Monster In The Woods

Moo Spell is a plum polish with color shifting shimmer that flashes blue to green to purple, with red and violet holographic glitter bits, and gold holo dust. This was also opaque in one coat, but I used two. Also not very shiny when dry. The blue shimmer is most apparent in my photo, but the red toned purple aspect is very present in person.
Moo Moo's Signatures Moo Spell

Mossy is an olive green scattered holographic polish with subtle pinky red shimmer. Almost opaque in one coat, but I needed two for full coverage. Also dries a bit dull. This is perfection, it reminds me of a swamp in autumn!
Moo Moo's Signatures Mossy

Once In A Blue Moo-n is a vibrant cobalt blue crelly with a slight tinge of purple. It has awesome flake shimmer with color shifting purple to green tiny glimmer bits. Excellent formula, easy to apply and almost opaque in one coat. I used two, again. This one dries more matte. I have a lot of polish in this shade range and I never get sick of it, so gorj!
Moo Moo's Signatures Once In A Blue Moo-n

I think they might use pigments that don't dry very shiny in general, like some other indies I've come across. That doesn't mean anything to me really because I always use a top coat, but you may not so I wanted to let you know. These are available now on the Moo Moo's Signatures website for 16.00 SGD for a 12 mL bottle, except Mossy which costs 18.00 SGD. Tell me what  you think about these fun indie polishes! I love the blue and green holo the most I think. And how cute is Moo Moo?? Talk to you again soon!

Cirque - Fleur est Belle

This is Fleur est Belle by indie brand Cirque. It's an exclusive shade created for Singapore stockist Mei Mei's Signatures. The owner of Cirque describes it as "petal pink evoking images of the warm tropics and pink flowers that emanate whimsical femininity". I was convinced I needed this polish from the early previews I saw.

It has a beautiful sweet pink jelly base with golden shimmer, flakes, different shapes of glitter in satin and matte white, pink, and metallic gold. I love how it's sheer enough to build upon itself and show the different layers of glitter. Very delicate and intricate. This is three thin coats. Jelly glitters can gum if you apply them too quickly, so wait a bit for each layer to dry before you paint on the next one for best results.

You can buy this up exclusively at Mei Mei's Signatures. My total ended up being about $24 including shipping which I felt was pretty fair. And the shipping didn't take too long, about three weeks. What do you think about this polish? I'm head over heels! This has to be my new favorite polish of 2013! You can keep up with news from Cirque on their website and Facebook page.
