Cirque Colors ICON Duos for Nordstrom x OC Pop-In Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you some new limited edition Cirque Colors lacquers that are available in special duo packs. They are part of the specially curated Pop-In Shop event at Nordstrom celebrating the NYC fashion brand Opening Ceremony. These six shades are inspired by the OC pre-spring color palette, available in gift sets each containing 1 crème and 1 holographic shade.

Selvedge is a navy blue crème, deep not so dark that it looks black which I appreciate. The formula is really great, it's almost a one coater but I did use two here.
Cirque Colors Selvedge

Tangerine Dream is paired with Selvedge; it's a medium pumpkin orange, that leans a touch red, holographic. The holo bits in this really pop, it's very vibrant. This applied effortlessly and was also almost a one coater, but it deepened slightly on the second coat.

El Capitan is an olive green crème. Another amazing formula, really close to being a one coat wonder but again I did two here. A slightly brighter version than other olive shades that I have, so I'm happy to have this in my collection.

Modern Muse is in the duo with El Capitan, a start contrast in a dusty princess pink-gold linear holographic. This one was kinda thin, but covered well in two coats. The holo is a bit stronger in person than it appears here.

Storm King has a crème formula in an icy light blue. This had a great formula for being such a pale color, no streaking and good coverage in two coats. This is a color you could wear all year long and you'd always be in season!

Oporto is Storm King's duo partner, a mahogany burgundy jelly with scattered holographic shimmer and red sparkle bits. This one was a little bit thin, but not difficult to apply at all. Two coats for full opacity.

Cirque x Nordstrom Nike Release Swatches & Review

What's up chickadees? Today I have a fun bunch of lacquers from Cirque Colors to show you. They were selected by Nordstrom to be featured in their monthly Pop-In shop, for a second time, which showcases independent designers. This month the theme is Nike Women. These colors were curated to compliment the Nike collection and will be available online and in select Nordstrom stores for a limited time. Three of the colors are new to me and three are ones that I've shown you in the recent past. Let's take a look!

Coronation was previously released as a very limited edition color and I'm so glad it's back for this release because it's freaking fabulous. This is a vibrant galaxy purple jelly with a slightly navy edge, fiery coppery pink shimmer and sparkly glitter bits. This formula was great, I got excellent coverage in two coats. Photos do not do this baby justice, you need to see it!

Next is Thicker Than Water, a turquoise jelly with multi-dimensional shimmer that glows gold and green. This is seriously stunning, just wow. You need it. Another one that is infinitely better in real life than a photo can show. This is three thin coats.
Cirque Colors Thicker Than Water

Dear Dahlia is a fuchsia pink jelly with more of that multi-dimensional shimmer that shifts from gold to green and then to blue. Intense and ridiculously gorgeous. I did NOT want to take this off. Great formula, thin but easy to apply and not runny. This is three coats.

You've seen this guy beforeDoyers is a cherry tomato red crème from the Metropolis collection. A little thick but not difficult to apply, two coats.
Cirque Colors Doyers

Vigo is another one I've shown you recently, it's an orchid pink crème. Very smooth and shiny. Two easy coats.

Last is Sunset Park, which came out at the same time Vigo did, shown in this post. It's a sweet coral orangey crème. I needed three coats for this guy, it was still a little streaky on two for me.

Butter London - Two Fingered Salute

Nordstrom has a trio of exclusive lacquers from Butter London out right now and today I'm going to show you my pick from the three. Two Fingered Salute is one of the hottest polishes on the market right now, it has been sold out online and even in stores all over. I finally was able to order it a few weeks ago and it just shipped :) Side note: I honestly hate how Nordstrom packages their shipments though, I've ordered one or two cosmetics from them a few times and they always arrive in a medium to LARGE box that weighs about an ounce because it's that one thing and packing paper. It's wasteful and makes me mad. But it must not make me so mad that I've stopped ordering from them...

Two Fingered Salute is a dusty mint green with gazillions of irregularly shaped copper flecks that gleam dusty pink in the sunshine. I FREAKING love this polish! This is basically Rescue Beauty Lounge Halcyon, only a little lighter and with more pronounced shimmer. I always adore the BL formula too, two coats on this one. Ga-ga-gorgeous!

How do you like this guy? I am in love. You can look for this at your local Nordstrom store or online at nordstrom.com for $14.

Butter London - Wallis

Hey folks, hope you're well. Today I have to show you one of the new Butter London colors, called Wallis. It came out in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and is now a part of the Fall collection from Butter London. I am SO happy that this brand is now available at Nordstroms. I used to only be able to get them online, then when they came out in Ulta a few months ago, it took at least an hour drive to get to my closest store. Now, they are much more accessible to me which I am real happy about.

Wallis is a tarnished gold olive green foil shimmer. It is named after Wallis Simpson, the "saucy yank" that King Edward VIII left his throne for. I LOVE this polish, it's fantastically beautiful and complex. I have seen a few other bronzey green polishes come out this season, so it is definitely on trend. The formula is thin but builds on itself very well. This is three coats.
