Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection December 2015 Swatches & Review

Hi there! The December installment of the Cirque Colors Metropolis collection has come in and it's a vampy beauty!

Rouge Rockefeller is a burgundy red. The formula is very shiny and seems to be a hybrid between a jelly and a crème. Opaque like a crème, yet squishy and slightly transparent like a jelly. I used three coats here, but you could probably get away with two.

My friend Emily has a blog post showing some of the other Cirque reds compared to each other, if you're interested. This is available now on the Cirque Colors website for $13. Be sure to check out my other posts on the Metropolis collection if you have missed any of them!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection November 2015 Swatches & Review

Happy Saturday dear friend! I hope you are having a lovely day. :) I have two new polishes to add to the Cirque Colors Metropolis collection today! This is a collection of crème shades, with a new one or two being added monthly. Check out all my posts on the collection here if you're interested. This month we have two shades in the brown family, let's take a look!

Topless In Times Square is a pale beige nude. This needed three coats for full opacity on my nails, because it has more of a crelly formula. This is quite feminine but with a modern touch, I love it!
Cirque Colors Topless In Times Square

Glitterati is a medium greyed brown. Not too dark or light, but just in that sweet spot. Excellent formula, practically paints itself on your nails! Also more of a crelly, this is two coats but you may need three.

Both colors are available now for $13 on the Cirque Colors website. What do you think of these rich, chic crèmes? I adore brown nail polish, I always feel classy and hip at the same time when I wear it. Do you have a shade that gives you that feeling?

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection October 2015 Swatches & Review

Hello again! How do you feel about dark, rich crème shades? If you like them, then you'll love this month's installment of the Cirque Colors Metropolis collection! Their October colors are perfect for this time of year, when most people start wearing deeper shades to go with the changing seasons.

McKittrick is a dark forest green crème. It has the same fabulous formula I've come to expect from Cirque, thin without being runny and easy to apply. Maybe a tiny bit on the jelly-side of a crème. This is two coats. I'm crazy about greens so this is a total winner for me!
Cirque Colors McKittrick

Velvet Underground is a luxe eggplant purple crème. Dark but not so much that it looks black, which I really like. This had the same formula, but was more of a straight crème. Hassle-free and opaque in two coats.
Cirque Colors Velvet Underground

These are available now at the Cirque Colors website for $13 per bottle. Be sure to check out their stockists page to see other places to purchase too! What do you think about these two lush polishes? Let me know and be sure to check out the rest of the Metropolis collection colors I've blogged about!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection September 2015 Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! I hope the week is treating you well :) I have the three new shades from Cirque Colors for The Metropolis collection for September 2015 to show you today! They had a bit of a break in releasing new crème colors for this ongoing collection, as we haven't seen new ones since June, but they are back in action now! This month's colors might be my favorite yet, they are so good!

Deco is a lavender-grey crème. This one can kind of change colors in different lights, looking much more purple in some and way more grey in others, and kinda blue at times This was almost a one coater, very buttery and opaque in a nice thin, but not runny, consistency. I used two coats for full coverage. It also dries very shiny.
Cirque Colors Deco

Jane on Jane St is a chic rose-mauve crème. It has the same excellent formula, opaque in two coats with a shiny finish. Good golly, I am in love with this color!

Page Six is a dove grey crème. I am just amazed at the formulas on these, they are all so great they practically apply themselves. Two coats, dries very shiny.

You can purchase these shades and the rest of the colors in The Metropolis collection on the Cirque Colors website for $13 each. Be sure to check their list of stockists too! What do you think of these moody pale shades? I think they are great transitional colors for the start of a colder season!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection June 2015 Swatches & Review

Hey kids! I've been kinda crazy busy and the weather has been super rainy so I haven't gotten to swatch anything new in a few weeks. :P I did get a teeny bit of sun on Monday though, so I was able to get a few photos done! I have the two new polishes from Cirque Colors, their June shades for the Metropolis collection, a collection of crèmes they add to with new colors every month.

This color is called Golightly, a robin's egg blue crème named after my all time favorite movie character, Holly Golightly from the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's. This is such an iconic, classic color and it's perfect for this New York company's New York themed collection. :) Two easy, perfect coats.
Cirque Colors Golightly

And this shade is called Nolita Lolita, a bright medium pink crème. I find this to be a perfect kind of "daily" pink, not too loud, not too soft, just cute and feminine enough to wear anytime. I had a bit of streaking with this on the second coat, so I used three to even it out.
Cirque Colors Nolita Lolita

These will be released on June 1st for $13 on CirqueColors.com. What do you think of these two classic crèmes? Are you more of a blue or a pink person? I'm both!

Love ya!

Cirque Colors Hustle Swatch & Review

Hi friends! Today I wanted to pop in and show you the newest edition to the Cirque Colors Metropolis collection. May's color is called Hustle it's a yellow chartreuse crème. This had an absolutely perfect formula, which I wasn't expecting because these types of colors are notorious for being difficult. This was opaque in two coats.

You can purchase this and the rest of the Metropolis collection crèmes on the Cirque Colors website for $13 each. What do you think of this offbeat yellow-green babe? I'm head over heels!

Have a great Sunday!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection April 2015 Swatches & Review

Hey there! Today we have some new colors from Cirque Colors for April to add to their Metropolis collection! These are perfect for Spring and fit in with the rest of the great crèmes in the anthology. Let's take a look :)

Vigo is an "orchid pink", it's very smooth and shiny. I tend not to go for this type of shade in general, but they do look very pretty on the nail. This will probably be a really great pedicure color for me! Two easy coats.
Cirque Colors Vigo The Metropolis Collection

Sunset Park is a sweet coral orangey crème. I actually had a little bit of streaking with this one unfortunately, but was able to level it off with three coats. I haven't heard of anyone else having issues with this one so it might've just been my application that day, who knows. Either way, it's a great shade for this time of year!
Cirque Colors Sunset Park The Metropolis Collection

You can purchase these two shades and the rest of the Metropolis collection on their website www.cirquecolors.com for $13 each. What do you think of these lovely crèmes? I probably swoon over shimmers and glitters more often, but there is just something about a flawless, smooth crème that I just love!

Stay tuned for more pretties!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection March 2015 Swatches & Review

Happy Sunday funday! I hope you have something cool to do today besides setting your clocks forward (if you're in a Daylight Savings area). I wanted to show off the two newest shades in the Cirque Colors Metropolis Collection for you! The boutique indie brand from New York has been putting out one or two new crème shades every month to comprise the collection and today I have the March additions.

First is Lady Liberty, a greeny turquoise crème with an almost jellyish quality. It was nice, buttery and opaque in two coats. This might be my favorite shade in the collection so far!
Cirque Colors Lady Liberty Metropolis Collection

And second is Hudson, a dusty medium blue crème with a periwinkle tone. This was super creamy and smooth, perfectly opaque in two coats.
Cirque Colors Hudson Metropolis Collection

These are available now for $13 each on www.cirquecolors.com. They also have a list of all the stockists they are sold with. So what are your thoughts on the latest installment of the Metropolis collection? Which of these would you pick up?

Happy trails!

Cirque Colors Doyers Swatch & Review

Hi folks! How are you doing? It feels like a red kinda day, so I wanted to show you awesome new one from Cirque Colors called Doyers. This is the February addition to the Metropolis collection, I showed you two others from the collection a while ago. I'd call this a cherry tomato red crème, bright and on the edge of being orangey. Excellent opacity, kind of thick but very easy to apply. Two coats here.

One more interesting tidbit that I didn't really notice with other Cirque's I've tried, but I've since confirmed it with them all, they smell like essential oils! I knew Cirque used them in their polish but I didn't think of them as being scented. I think the main oils they use are sage and lavender. I find the scent soft and pleasant and it makes the polishing experience almost seem spa-like :) You can purchase Doyers starting February 1st on their website www.cirquecolors.com for $13. What do you think of this classic red? Do you like Cirque Colors?

Catch you next time!

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection January 2015 Swatches & Review

Greetings earthlings! Today I have the two January shades from Cirque Colors' The Metropolis collection to show you. They are releasing two new crème shades every month to make up the collection, all dedicated to New York! This indie company is based there so it's a great gathering of colors to show their love for the city.

First is Empire State of Mind, a "vampy oxblood red". This one went on very jellyish for me, I'd call it a jelly crème hybrid. I expected it to only need two coats, but I could still see through to my nail bed so I ended up using three. Dries very shiny.
Cirque Colors Empire State of Mind

Midnight Cowboy is a fabulous navy blue. This one is also on the jelly side, but it is more opaque than Empire was. I used two coats here. Awesome smooth formula! Also dries nice and shiny.
Cirque Colors Midnight Cowboy

These are available now for $13 on www.cirquecolors.com. They also have a list of all the stockists they are sold with. What do you think of these dark beauties? I'm partial to blue, so I'd have to say Midnight Cowboy is my fav :)

Talk to you soon!
