Happy Labor Day to all my US readers! And happy Monday to everyone else :) Please enjoy the following guest post by my awesome friend Emiline from Nail Polish Society!
---
Hello there you lovely people! I'm Emiline from Nail Polish Society and I'm so honored to have been asked to guest post here. I been following Kellie's blog since my obsession first started three years ago. As you all know her swatches are to die for, and have influenced many a purchase of mine. Not only do I aspire to her amount of perfection, she is also just a really cool dudette. So thank you so much for having me!
For my nail art I created a simple look with a watermarble accent nail. I love me a good watermarble and it's slightly addicting. I often buy polishes based on their individual colors, then when I get them home I realize how well they go together. That was the case with these three Ginger + Liz polishes, ones that I wouldn't have normally thought of pairing together. I have found this brand to watermarble really well in the past and so I had to try it with these shades. As you can see, they worked like a charm! For my accent nail I applied the lilac shade on my nail as a base color. Then I added alternating drops of gray, lilac, and gold in my glass of water, and created a floral design on an inner ring of gray. I think the simplicity is slightly sophisticated but also really striking. Lastly I added a couple gold studs too for a little sompin' sompin'.
What I used:
Ginger + Liz Grounded- gray
Ginger + Liz Calm Down Girl- lilac
Ginger + Liz Got My Groove Back- gold
gold stud decorations from Born Pretty Store
Seche Vite top coat
I hope you enjoy what I've created! Thank you again Kellie for having me! Take a little break now and go treat yo' self.

Guest Post by Samarium's Swatches: Neon Watermarble
Hi folks! I'm almost recuperated enough to start swatching again but I do have another awesome guest post for you today, this time from Sarah of Samarium's Swatches. This gal is so fab, her photos and manicure skills make me envious! I also just love her blog style, delightful and so fun. I'm happy to show you her awesome nail art post here and be sure to check her out so you can keep up with all her awesome manicures!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys! My name is Sarah from Samarium's Swatches!
Kellie asked me to help her out with a guest post and I gladly obliged after a few failed attempts! haha
For today's post I just knew I wanted to do something neon and bright!
First I started off with a white base, using Zoya Purity.
Using a wedge makeup sponge and the gradient sponging technique I used the following colors,
in the following order.
For those unfamiliar you paint each color onto the sponge in a strip and then stamp the sponge on each nail. Then repaint and repeat once more onto your nails. I'd recommend using less colors though!
Illamasqua - Poke
China Glaze - Shocking Pink
Illamasqua - Gamma
Illamasqua - Rare
Illamasqua - Nurture
Illamasqua - Nomad
Illamasqua - Serenity
Then I mattified it with Butter London Matte Finish!
Then using A England Camelot, Glitter Gal Turbulence and Orly Nailtrition I tried a water marble.
I've been trying to practice at water marbling once a week lately, and I actually have improved some!
I'm not great at it but I really love how this turned out! Especially the pinky!
What do you guys think? I hope you like it!

Guest Post by Let Them Have Polish: Bettina Rainbow Watermarble
Please enjoy this guest post by my totally talented friend Cristina from Let Them Have Polish!
Hi loveees!!!!
Look at me!!! I'm on Also Known As... Are you kidding me?! Anywho.. Now that I've got that out of my system I do have to say how excited and flattered I am to even be here with you guys today!! For this post I wanted to do something really special. So I decided to put on my big girl pants and watermarble! Last time I watermarbled was when I guest posted on the lovely Glitta Gloves, who was just on here recently. See I normally save watermarbles for special occasions and this is definitely special :). I won't blab much and just get to the pictures!
I went with a rainbow lollipop theme! I freaking looooove this sooo much! Don't they look like candies? I basically created my own version of Color Club's latest PRIDE Collection release out of my Bettina polishes and just went for it! I have to say I am so beyond happy with how this turned out. They are not perfect but they are colorful and even though Pride month has passed I say who cares! Rainbows for everyone!!
All of this was done on a base of two coats of Bettina's Candy Marshmallow. This is the most wearable White ever. It has just a hint of Pink. This color also has the most effortless formula, only needing Two coats to be fully even and opaque. I could have done with One coat since I was just using it as my base but I wanted to show you a swatch of it so I did Two coats. Also this is without a top coat! I love how shiny my Bettinas are.
Just for fun here is a pic of what the cup looked like. Soooo pretty! I just wanted to keep swirling the colors around.
Also those of you wondering about Bettina polishes. They are a Puerto Rican brand of cosmetics with great nail polish and you can purchase them directly from them by sending an email to janetmrosado@gmail.com (Rosama Distributors-authorized distributors Bettina cosmetics). They are really great about getting back to people wanting to purchase in the U.S.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed working on it for you Kellie-fans!! This has seriously been a blast!
♥ Cristina

Holy WOW this is truly amazing, I was beginning to think my site would never feature a watermarble, cuz I'm so damn bad at them, but now that dream is a reality! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing post with my readers C!
