Rescue Beauty Lounge Catherine

This demure hottie is Catherine from Rescue Beauty Lounge's Real Housewives of the Tudor Dynasty collection. She's understated but sexy, which I love in a polish. The formula was heaven, two coats of buttery goodness. I love the multicolored microshimmer in this, very subtle. I received this as a gift in a swap from my girl Polish Pauper, I still kinda can't believe the lovely lady sent this as an extra! Thanks again darlin' :)

Urban Decay Twisted

Urban Decay Twisted is a long ago discontinued polish from the past. I acquired this rare vintage gem from a lovely gal in a swap. I seem to be craving more "antique" polishes lately, so I apologize if I am giving you hard-to-find lemmings by showing them on my blog. Sometimes when I find myself aching for inspiration and feeling sluggish in wanting to paint my nails, I think about my rare beauties and it gets me all shook up inside and happy for lacquer again.

Twisted is a unique polish, sheerish (4 coats worth), sandy dirty antique gold with lots of shimmer that flashes brilliantly. I am in deep lust with this fellow. He shall be mine foreva. Urban Decay, bring back the gorgeous old polishes you used to spoil us with PLEASE!!

Electric Pineapple vs. Fiercely Fiona

I wanted to show you a comparison between China Glaze's new color Electric Pineapple, from the Island Escape collection, and OPI's Fiercely Fiona, from their Shrek Collection.

EP is more green than FF for sure. Pineapple is also a thicker polish but I find that I used the same amount of coats for each anyway. They are similar enough to say you don't really need them both, but depending on your coloring, one could look better on you than the other.
