So even though school started here last Monday, and I've already had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season, it's still technically summer right? Since it's not Labor Day yet?? I'm going with it! Anyway, here are probably the last summer polishes I'll be showing this year, two I bought from the Essie Viva Antigua collection. The other four shades in the collection were nice, but not must haves for my stash.
Viva Antigua! is a sparkling turquoise with iridescent micro flakies of shimmer. The application on this was really nice, great formula. I used two coats for full opacity.
Loot The Booty is a radiant blue sapphire with micro flakies of pale shimmer that shine blue in the base. Awesome color, amazing formula. Practically paints itself on! Two coats here too. The name of this still makes me giggle.
I purchased these from my local CVS. They should still be available wherever Essie is sold, like Ulta, Target, and most drugstores. Did you pick up any colors from this collection? Are you sad summer shades are leaving us and that fall shades are coming out? We all know I'm a heathen for fall, but I gotta give my summer polishes credit, they are so great!

Powder Perfect Antique Princess Duo Mei Mei's Signatures Exclusive Swatches & Review
Good day to you dear friend! Australian indie brand Powder Perfect has created an exclusive duo for Singapore based nail polish stockist Mei Mei's Signatures called the Antique Princess duo and I've got them to show you today!
Contested Crown is a mauvey purple shimmery holographic filled with blue to purple shifting micro flakes. This is gorgeous and deep and complex. A little thin, but applied easily. I used three coats, but two would probably work fine for most. The holo is more apparent in person, it was harder to capture in a photo.
Forgotten Princess features gold to fuchsia shifting metallic flakies in an olive green jelly base. This reminds me of a magical forest, perhaps that is where the princess got forgotten? Good formula, a touch on the runny side, so don't overload your brush with product. This is three coats.
These are available now on the Mei Mei's Signature's website for SGD 17.00 each, which is about $12.50 USD with the current exchange rate. Let me know what you think of these lacquers! Are you more into the shimmer/holo or the flakies? Talk to you again soon!

Potion Polish Stormwatch Duo Swatches & Review
Hello dear friends and happy September! I have some lacquers from indie brand Potion Polish to share with you today, their new Stormwatch duo! I'm always excited to see what they come out with next, I haven't disliked a color I've tried from them yet!
Cloudburst is a steely blue grey scattered holographic that shifts to a navy blue, and is packed with glimmering gold holo glitters and a light pink shimmer. This was very close to being a one coater, but I needed two to cover 100%. Great, easy formula. Dries a tad dull so you'll want a top coat for intense shine.
Tempest is a moody blackened purple holographic with holo flakes and a light pink shimmer. This is super opaque and goes on like butter, it's a one coater! I did two coats like always though. Dries dull but positively gleams with a shiny top coat.
The duo is releasing Friday, September 2nd at 1pm EST on the Potion Polish website. For the first 72 hours they will be $1 off each; $11 each afterwards. Let me know what you think about these gorgeous holos!
